Abilities in The Bard's Tale IV refers to actions that the player character performs in combat. These actions are available depending on the Weapons equipped, and Skills learned.

Bard Abilities

Stance. Summon a wall of helpful wind that deflects 50% incoming ranged attacks.

waylands_watch Wayland's Watch castrange1

Target foes are shrunk, reducing their Strength by 50% for 1 turn.

falkentynes_fury Falkentyne's Fury -

Mark all enemies with Falkentyne's Fury. Damage detonates the mark, dealing 2 True to the target.

rhyme_of_duotime Rhyme of Duotime - Reduce all ability cooldowns in your entire party by 1.
spellsong Spellsong castrange2 Channel 1. Grant 1 Spell Point to all nearby adventurers.
lyric_of_legends Lyric of Legends - Channel 1 or 2. Gain 3 or 4 bonus Opportunity.
storm_of_swords Storm of Blades cast_range4 Deal 1 Physical to first enemy in range. Hits 2 times

throw_bomb Throw Bomb - Throw a Fairy powder bomb. The bomb detonates when the fuse counter reaches 0. Deals 4 physical damage, and deals half damage to adjacent spaces.
lesser_draught_of_power Lesser Draught of Power - Gain 10 strength for 2 turns.
potions_advanced_lesser_elixer_of_focus Potions Advanced - Lesser Elixer of Focus - Target ally gains 2 Spell Point and 33% increased Intelligence for 2 turns.
potions_advanced_lesser_elixer_of_armor Potions Advanced - Lesser Tonic of Armor - Target ally gains 4 Armor for 2 turns.

feathered_charm_levitate Feathered Charm - Levitate - Move any target into an unoccupied space.
gate Gate - Battle Ready Summon a shadowy wraith into your party
prime_summoning Prime Summoning - Summon 2 Skeleton Warriors into open nearby locations within your party. The spaces are chosen randomly.
vorpal_plating Vorpal Plating - Rapid Fire. Enchant ally's weapons to deal additional damage and have additional effects this turn.
meditate Meditate - Channel 1. Gain 1 Spell Point.
