Archmage is a Practitioner Skill in The Bard's Tale IV: Barrow's Deep. Skills are unlocked in the "Skills" tab and require Skill Points. Some skills add attributes, while others unlock Abilities. Abilities are special attacks with varying targeting that depend on the Weapons you have equipped. You may unlock Mastery for an ability and place it in your Mastery Book to be able to use it without needing its original weapon.
Archmage Effect
Passives: Arch Mage: Deal +1 damage for each Spell Point you possess when attacking with spells.
Grants Mastery In: Spectre Touch, Mangar's Mallet, Summon Herb
Strength +4
All Practitioners strive their entire lives to reach the ranks of the Arch Mages. Only the most studied and dedicated of Practitioners are able to reach this hallowed status of magical practice. By mastering at least 3 of the four magical schools they can unlock the secrets of the universe and wield the most powerful spells in existence.
