Intelligence is a Stat in The Bard's Tale IV. It is a statistic used to define a characteristic of character or NPCs.
Information
Increases the amount of mental damage required to disrupt your channeled or focused abilities.
Increases damage for skills marked with the ARCANE tag such as Arcane Barrage. If a skill does not have the ARCANE tag the damage will be increased by Strength. It does not matter if the skill does physical or mental damage.
Does NOT increase healing.

Also the more intelligence the more spells/books you have access to in a fight. For example an intelligence of 5 gives you 3 slots and 8 gives you 4 slots.
